We are delighted to be re-recruiting for four new Campaign Coordinator roles for our Teach the Future campaign:

3 x 7 hours/week (term time) Scotland Campaign Coordinator. Please click here access the Role Profile.

1 x 28 hours/week UK-Wide Campaign Coordinator. Please click here to access the Role Profile.

These six-month roles are employed by Students Organising for Sustainability UK (SOS-UK).

The roles provide professional development opportunities for secondary and tertiary students interested in climate justice and campaigning and there will be workshop and training opportunities offered to successful candidates. The roles form part of our TtF staffing plan that was shaped and approved by volunteers last year.  As Teach the Futures roles are development opportunities for students, we will always place emphasis on education and wellbeing. Please ensure you consider your education priorities and wellbeing before applying for these roles, if delivering these roles will negatively impact on your educational attainment, or if you are unlikely to have capacity to deliver the role, please do not apply.

To support the prioritisation of education and wellbeing in the campaign, we require that applicants under 18 years old please provide parental consent when applying.

Teach the Future and SOS-UK value climate justice and diversity in ability, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, class and other protected characteristics. We are especially keen to encourage application from people currently under-represented in the team, organisation and movement. We acknowledge that the environmental sector is the second least racially diverse sector in the UK and currently experiences, needs and priorities of marginalised groups are often left out of responses to the climate emergency, this is something we are keen to address.

Please see the Role Profile linked to the title above.

To apply, please send this application form to hello@sos-uk.org by 8th April at 9am.
