Ready-to-go training packages include:
•    Planning your sustainability campaign
•    Sustainability for course representatives
•    Alcohol awarness training
•    Monitoring your impact
•    Aligning your work to the Sustainable Development Goals
•    Social change theory

For a list of all the readily available workshops check out our brand new Learning Academy.

We also develop bespoke training and workshop packages, facilitate sustainability consultations and often speak at events and conferences either as keynotes, guest lecturers or part of panel discussions.

Over the last academic year we have delivered more consultancy, tailored projects, and bespoke training than ever before. This includes:

  • working with Oxford University to review their university-wide sustainability engagement strategy and provide recommendations;
  • delivering an MSc lecture on education for sustainability development at the University of Surrey;
  • facilitating student-led curriculum mapping using the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at De Montfort University, the University of Winchester, and Liverpool University;
  • developing bespoke versions of our existing programmes for Unite Students;
  • delivering full-day training for staff and elected officers at the SU at UWE and City University SU.

"The Education for Sustainable Development workshops delivered by NUS were extremely useful in helping students to break down the meaning of sustainability into manageable and understandable components, allowing course reps to think critically and reflectively about the presence of sustainability within their own course curriculum." Amy Hall, academic representation co-ordinator, UCLan Students' Union
