Emma Lewins

Emma joined SOS-UK as a project manager for the South West in November 2020. Emma engages staff and students in a variety of sustainability projects, including Green Impact and Student Switch Off.  

 

Emma studied Geography at Royal Holloway, University of London, where she became passionate about climate justice, and subsequently started volunteering for the UK Youth Climate Coalition. She then worked for a local authority promoting recycling and community development initiatives and later worked for the Holocaust Educational Trust coordinating their Ambassador Programme. After participating in an Environmental Leadership Programme, Emma then studied for a Masters in Migration and Mobility Studies at the University of Bristol and specialised in climate-induced displacement. 

 

Outside of work, Emma enjoys reading, yoga, and being outside in nature.
