Taking sustainability values into your career

OVERVIEW

A day's training course for students and/or staff from all programmes of study to explore sustainability values and ethics, and bringing this into future careers regardless of specialism. The training explores the concept of values with a focus on sustainability and ethics as a means of identifying how to make a positive impact in the workplace and through future career paths.

 

LEARNING OUTCOMES

As a result of completing this training, participants will be able to:

  • Communicate their sustainability values with confidence.
  • Gain an understanding of organisational change theory and how they can influence this.
  • Develop a toolkit for being a sustainability professional within any career choice. 

 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This training is appropriate for all students.  Academic supervisors / employability, sustainability and student experience staff may also find the training useful.

This training is available as:

  • National 1/2 day workshop for institution and students' union staff and officers
  • bespoke delivery for individual institutions / students' unions

This training can be delivered online or in person.

The training lasts for 3.5 hours.

Costs for the delivery options are as follows...
