The fourth annual Global Goals Teach In took place 22nd February – 5th March 2021 and was the most successful campaign since the first Teach In in 2018!
The annual campaign calls on educators from all disciplines and stages of education to pledge to include the UN Global Goals for Sustainable Development, otherwise known as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in their teaching and learning throughout the two-week campaign period.
The 2021 campaign saw a total of 496 educators pledging to incorporate the Global Goals into their teaching, learning and assessment. The lessons, workshops and tutorials in the Teach In reached 47,292 students from 48 educational institutions in 10 countries. Last year’s campaign reached 25,026 students at 24 institutions, so the campaign has nearly doubled its reach this year!
