As a result of the prize money we received from our UNESCO award, we are delighted to have now funded 60 sustainability projects with microgrants totalling £10,652.92! Just a bit over the £10,000 we set aside; the proposals were so good, we couldn’t resist.
And we’re not stopping there. The deadline for Green Impact microgrant applications is at the end of the month – and we’re putting another £10,000 into the pot! So get your ethical thinking caps on, and send us your ideas for projects that’ll make your campus or community a greener, better place.
We’ve funded projects such as medicinal gardens, therapeutic gardening, homes for bees and hospital allotments, and look forward to seeing more innovative and progressive ideas.
The deadline is 5pm on 29th March 2017. This will be the final Green Impact microgrant deadline this academic year, but we are working to bring the grants back from September 2017.
